How do I exchange or obtain money.
- Yes, each of our Pilgrimages has a Catholic
Priest in addition to a representative of Mater Dei Tours, a tour
guide/driver and possibly regional guides from the places we visit.
- Mater Dei Tours uses 1st class and above
categories of hotels on our tours. All of the hotels we select
offer private bathrooms (ensuite).
- Yes - Travel Insurance is offered and highly
recommended. If you did not receive a brochure with your
registration - please contact us and we will be glad to forward the
details.
- Yes, daily Mass is scheduled in advance on all of
our pilgrimages.
- Our groups vary in size, but are generally between
15 to 40 participants.
- Your deposit and completed registration form secures
your space. Simply complete our online form and fax or mail the
copy or call us today for a hard copy of the brochure.
- Hotels throughout Europe and Mexico base their room
rates on double occupancy. When a room is occupied by
one person, these hotels require a single supplement to help cover the
loss of the second occupant.
- Unless requested, all of our tours will have a
representative of Mater Dei Tours from start to finish.
- Modest dress is expected while visiting Religious
Sights. We encourage our participants to avoid shorts and
sleeveless shirts. Woman should also avoid short (above the knee)
skirts and may need a head covering for visits on some itineraries.
- Each of our itineraries vary on the level of
walking required. On average you can expect to walk between 1-3
miles per day. If you have difficulty walking, please
discuss this with our staff prior to departure and we will make every
attempt to accommodate you based on your abilities.
- Wheelchairs may be
brought on tour. Please arrange for a travel companion to aid you
while on tour to push and lift you or your chair if necessary.
- Every attempt is
made to provide coaches with on board bathrooms. However, if we
are unable to provide a coach with facilities, we will make frequent
stops.
- U.S. currency may
be exchanged in advance at your local bank or upon arrival in the
foreign country. Further, you may obtain currency via your ATM
card or your major credit card.
