Footsteps of St. Paul
Greece and Turkey, with The Compass
Join Mater Dei ® and The Compass, the award winning Catholic newspaper of the Diocese of Green Bay, WI, on an amazing pilgrimage to Greece and Turkey! Learn about St. Paul, his journeys and the origins of our Faith in Europe! A model of tenacity and untiring apostolate, St. Paul heroically christianized the pagan world of his time. Follow in the Footsteps of the Great Apostle St. Paul and learn about the origins of our Faith in the Gentile/Pagan world. Visits in Greece include Thessaloniki, Philippi, Kavala, Meteora, Kalambaka, Delphi, and Athens! In addition, our pilgrimage will include visits in Turkey like Pergamon and Thyatira (2 of the 7 Churches of Revelation), Ephesus (site of the famous council of Ephesus confirming Mary as "Mater Dei" the Mother of God, also the people who received St.Paul's famous words to the Ephesians), Virgin Mary's home at Mt Koressos (local tradition tells us that the Blessed Virgin Mary lived in this holy place in the company of St. John).
If you ever wanted to see Greece & Turkey and the magnificent beauty and amazing history and strong Faith found in these places, then say yes! Come join us on this unforgettable pilgrimage!
