Belgium

Bruges, Antwerp, Leuven, Brussels, Dion-le-Val, American WWII Cemeteries, Our Lady of Scherpenheuvel and Our Lady of Beauraing, and more!

Join us on this amazing journey to Belgium following the early lives of holy people like Saint Damian of Molokai and Adele Brice (the visionary who saw the Virgin Mary in Champion, WI, in 1859, an approved Marian apparition that gave brith to a deep Marian devotion in America, and built a beautiful Marian Shrine in rural Wisconsin). We will visit Adel's home town and parish as well as the port of emigration (Antwerp) where she left for America with the parents (putting a temporary halt to her vocation plans - God Had bigger plans for her).

Visit the stunning city of Bruges, replete with amazing architecture and holy site and relics. Visit the port city of Antwerp, and taste the brewed fruits of Monks at a nearby Monastery! Visit the amazing University of Leuven, Belgium's largest Catholic University founded in 1575, and Bishop Ricken's Alma Mater.

Visit and pray at the Marian Shrine of Our Lady of Scherpenheuvel and the approved Marian apparition site of Our Lady of Beauraing.

Visit, pray and pay your respects at the Henri-Chapelle American Cemetery. Many brave soldiers lost their lives here in courageous and incredible battles, defending the freedoms we enjoy today in America as well as in Europe. After this impactful visit, we continue to yet another famous cemetery, the Ardennes American Cemetery. Visit these famous and impacting American Cemeteries, with thousands of tombstones in perfect formation. As we walk by the thousands of tombstones, our group will pray a moving rosary for the many souls of the buried soldiers, and also for the protection of the many men and women in our Armed Forces, wherever they are in the world.

Immerse yourself in the long, historical and diverse culture of Belgium which gave the world some of the most amazing art and architectural beauty! Walking tour through Brussels as well as a bus panoramic tour of the most important sites, will ensure that we experience Belgium's Capital City and take many memories home.

Join Fr. Randy Budnar, from the Diocese of Madison, WI, and Juan Landa from Mater Dei Tours, on this wonderful double Marian Pilgrimage to Ireland, a wee bit of Croatia and Bosnia & Herzegovina. We will travel to the gorgeous and historic Emerald Isle to visit Drogheda (to pray before the relics of St. Oliver Plunket), Hill of Slane (to pray at the place where the 1st Paschal Fire was ever lit by St. Patrick), Monasterboyce (home to some of the best kept and largest Celtic Crosses), Knock's Marian Shrine (to pray at the spot where The Blessed Virgin Mary, St. Joseph and St. John appeared along with the Lamb of God, right above an Altar), Croaghpatrick (to make a symbolic climb of this mountain, while praying the rosary), Kylemore Abbey (a magnificent place of peace and beauty), Tobernalt's Mass Rock (to attend Mass where the Irish attended Mass, hiding from the harsh persecutions of Catholics during the Penal Times)and Dublin filled with Irish history and culture! In Croatia, we stop in a quaint coastal town of Cavtat, and from there, we will experience a beautiful panoramic mountain drive showing us (from above, as if the bus was flying) the legendary city of Dubrovnik, the pearl of the Adriatic Sea. In Herzegovina,   we arrive at a very important part of our double Marian Pilgrimage; to have an unforgettable spiritual retreat at Medjugorje, the famous Marian Shrine in Bosnia & Herzegovina. Visit St. James Parish Church, home to many spiritual events as well as some of the reported apparitions. We will climb Apparition Mountain, site of the first ever apparition in Medjugorje, Blue Cross (site of subsequent apparitions), Cross Mountain and many other sites associated with Medjugorje. We stay at the peaceful, humble and clean pilgrim accommodations near Apparition Mountain.
